Ever since I started my Digital Imaging II (Photoshop II) class last week in Aug, I feel my designs have grown. It's not that I didn't know this stuff before the class its a matter of being challenged and I'm finding that my job is boring. I'm stuck in a position that I can't go up but they keep piling more stuff on me without a pay raise (welcome to the real world, right?) I'm stuck with strict parameters to keep the German tradtion. Gratefully, I have stepped out of the usually tradition, but I don't think my job is ready for a major change. Not only that, budge only allows for 2 color or less printing. I can create creative things in two colors, but I feel limited. Anyone else feel the same with just 2-colors? Enough of my job ranting. This is life, at least I'm in the Graphic Design field instead or being one of the most of class being still looking for that graphics job.


I love learning. If I could stay in college for the next 10 years and keep learning new things in other fields I would. But, I can't. So, I'm stuck to learning on my own for things that my college or my field doesn't cover. I want to learn a 3D program like Maya or 3D studio max or something similar. How does one just jump into 3D?
